My Happy Place

One of my favorite places to visit is Claussen's Greenhouse & Nursery in Colchester.  Whenever I am feeling stressed out I will go stroll around and check out the beautiful tropical plants.

These are huge Syngoniums.  I have a big one of these too but it isn't as full looking.

These are Spathyphyllium, otherwise known as Peace Lilies.  I have a very large one of these but its not flowering at the moment.  It is the first large plant I bought last June.  I got it at Walmart, though, for $20!

This is a type of Alocasia.  I have a lot of Alocasias but I have never seen one this shape!  It looks like a philodendron to me.  Maybe it was labeled wrong?

I peeped this Philodendron Birkin hiding in the back.  I have one of these that I got for free from Lowes last year.  It was laying on the floor and the cashier didn't charge me for it.  Mine isn't as white though.  It probably doesn't get enough light...

I bought 2 plants but I will post pictures when I get them repotted later.  I'm throwing out a few of my collection that are either not growing well or have spider mites grrr I hate spider mites!
